After changing my topic from creative use of light, to then weather and now Evidence. When I was planning on my first shoot out in the chosen topic, I thought about incorporating all three. Therefore, with the sun out, I decided to look at Evidence of Light by using the sun. I was able to take some good images outside of college when I went on the walk, by going out into the forest and along the sides of different buildings to see the reflection of light. One of my favourite images from the shoot was one of the following which I took of the light on the building. It was made out of metal and was often hard to take pictures of because the light was so strong bouncing off of it. I like the composition of the image and the way it is framed in the shoot, while I enhanced the colours of the blue on the windows and in the sky to make it more vibrant.
Another image which I favour from the shoot is the following which shows form and how light can hit another object to create a shadow. I like this image as the rays of light are strong while there are two shadows present. One on Josh's back from objects behind him and one that he creates which is present in front of him.
Progression
In the next shoot, I am going to look at incorporating aspects of the nature and the surroundings. When I went out to shoot light, I looked at how the light affected the world around me. Next time, regardless of the light I will look at the different buildings and the natural occurrences around me. I could do this by including human presence.
