After completing the mind maps for each of the five starting points for Unit 2, I decided that weather would be best for me for a number of different reasons. Initially, I thought about the amount of stuff that is linked to the weather and how much there was to be able to link to the topic. Then, with the ideas from the powerpoint in mind, I decided to go out and shoot weather. When on the shoot, I realised that actually as I had no control of the weather, the amount of things I could shoot became very repetitive and limited due to the weather. It was sleeting slightly so everything was damp, and the sky was dull and grey. Although there was not enough rain for it to come through the images. During this shoot, it dawned on me that the weather was probably going to stay like this for a long time and I could end up with having several dull shoots. After this, I decided to go back and research my other two chosen which were Creative use of Light and Evidence. After researching, I decided that the starting point for Evidence was so broad that I could include light, therefore I will choose Evidence.

Next lesson I am going to look at evidence of Light and form, and see how I can compose shadows in this way. Highlighting how human presence has affected light and the shadows that come from this.
